Procureship gets new investment from True Wind Capital

Procureship reports that it has received a strategic growth investment from San Francisco-based private equity firm True Wind Capital to support further development of its maritime e-procurement platform.

The Athens-headquartered firm will continue to operate under its current management structure following the deal, with the new funding used to scale product development and expand its market presence.

Procureship’s platform includes tools for supplier recommendations, e-invoicing, IHM maintenance, contract and tender management, freight forwarding optimisation, and vendor management.

“We’re excited to join forces with True Wind Capital,” said Grigoris Lamprou, Co-Founder and CEO of Procureship.

“This partnership validates our vision of transforming maritime procurement through technology, enabling us to drive innovation and deliver even greater value to our global customer base.”

Founded in 2016, Procureship connects a network of suppliers to more than 100 buyers managing over 2,300 vessels globally. It operates regional offices in Denmark and Singapore.
