FincoEnergies adopts Ofiniti eBDN system to digitalise biofuel deliveries

FincoEnergies has introduced a new digital delivery system across its marine biofuel operations in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region, implementing electronic Bunker Delivery Note (eBDN) systems developed by DNV tech spin-off Ofiniti.

The system is delivered through Ofiniti’s FuelBoss platform, working with logistics partner VT Group, providing automated documentation and real-time data sharing for biofuel deliveries.

The digital interface coordinates fuel delivery processes and assists in management of communication between suppliers, barge operators, and shipowners.

“Schedules are becoming increasingly tighter as demand for sustainable biofuels grows,” said Leon Arets, Trading and Operations Director at FincoEnergies.

“We’re adopting a platform that enhances structure and responsiveness. This digital leap allows us to not only scale efficiently but also deliver greater transparency and operational excellence to our clients.”
