Oldendorff completes real-time high-frequency data integration project

Oldendorff Carriers has completed a project to have real-time high-frequency data from three vessels input directly into its BOSS performance platform using the eyeGauge system, with the goal of expanding the company’s capabilities in vessel monitoring and operational analytics.

eyeGauge collects live operational data from vessels without built-in high-frequency systems using its own non-intrusive hardware, without requiring the existing systems themselves to be changed.

Founded in 2020, the start-up raised €535,000 in funding following a seed round at the end of 2023 led by French investors including Mer Angels, Paris Business Angels and BAdGE. It currently operates offices in both France and Singapore.

“This collaboration supports our vision of data-backed operational excellence and provides a cost-e8ective pathway for vessels that lack native high-frequency data,” said Capt Thomas Antony, Director Operations & Performance Desk at Oldendorff.

BOSS, developed by Blue Water Trade Winds, is a software platform providing data validation and analytics for vessel performance.
