GlobalLogic and ISSPL agree AI-focused collaboration

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company, has agreed a strategic alliance with IRClass Systems and Solutions (ISSPL), formerly a division of Indian Register of Shipping (IRS), to deliver standards-compliant digital technologies aimed at strengthening operational resilience.

GlobalLogic says the partnership will operate under a flexible collaboration framework supported by its VelocityAI software development lifecycle and Responsible AI model.

For the maritime sector, the partners hope to deliver systems that can enhance safety by preventing incidents like capsizing and saving lives.

“This partnership with GlobalLogic strengthens our digital transformation journey by complementing our legacy with AI-powered intelligence, agility, and software engineering excellence,” said Shashi Nath Mishra, Chief Operating Officer, ISSPL.

“Together, we’re not just enhancing how we deliver services, we’re reimagining how industrial quality and compliance can evolve in the digital era. Through its proprietary VelocityAI SDLC platform, GlobalLogic will embed advanced AI capabilities and automation into client environments, supported by clear IP governance, data security protocols, and compliance safeguards that meet enterprise-grade standards.”
