Fuelsure and Bureau Veritas partner on bunker data transparency

Marine fuel procurement start-up Fuelsure reports that it has partnered with classification society Bureau Veritas to enable direct API-based laboratory integration to deliver fuel testing data into the Fuelsure platform.

The integration will allow bunker teams to request lab results from Bureau Veritas’s VeriFuel programme and have them delivered automatically into the software system, providing real-time visibility into fuel quality, supplier performance and the downstream financial impact of off-spec deliveries.

The move aims to reduce manual data handling and provide a single, auditable source of truth for fuel quality and delivery performance.

“The partnership with Fuelsure aligns with VeriFuel’s vision of a bunkers industry becoming more transparent through real-time fuel intelligence,” said Charlotte Røjgaard, Global Marine Fuels Director at Bureau Veritas.

Fuelsure was created through a collaboration between shipping company Hafnia and venture growth team Studio 30 50. Hafnia is one of the early adopters of the system.
