Assentiri has introduced a Virtual Closing Room for ship sale and purchase deals, offering a digital environment for managing closing procedures within Microsoft Teams.
The system aims to reduce administrative workload and improve transparency during S&P transactions by centralising document preparation, review and signing.
Assentiri says the application removes the need for separate e-mail chains, with closing memos, checklists and documents hosted directly in Teams. A DocuSign integration is included to support electronic signatures during the closing meeting.
The technology also generates an audit trail aligned with the agreed closing procedure.
The company notes that owners, brokers, legal teams and financiers can manage all closing stages in the shared Teams environment, from document preparation to final delivery confirmation.
The application is available for installation through the Microsoft Teams marketplace.
