Demurrage and detention monitoring added to Tradlinx platform

Tradlinx has launched a Demurrage & Detention monitoring feature inside its TRADLINX Ocean Visibility platform to help logistics teams identify containers at risk of free-time overage.

The new capability tracks terminal dwell in real time, enabling users to filter for containers that exceed configurable thresholds. The system flags at-risk cargo so teams can intervene before costs accrue.

The feature supports API integration for large shippers, allowing real-time feeds into ERP systems, while forwarders can export Excel reports to share data-driven risk assessments with customers.

“Demurrage and detention have long been a blind spot in logistics management, causing significant financial losses every year,” said Park Min Gyu, CEO of Tradlinx.

“With this new feature, our customers can manage complex D&D costs in a transparent, data-driven way and significantly improve both operational efficiency and cost predictability.”
