OPERATORS has launched a new board, advisory and investment collective aimed at improving how industrial-technology startups scale within maritime, ocean, energy and supply-chain markets.
The organisation says that it intends to address execution challenges faced by founders operating in sectors with long adoption cycles and low risk tolerance.
The group brings together operators, board members and investors who will work directly with founders on commercial strategy, product validation, capital planning and market engagement. OPERATORS says the model is intended to replace informal advisory structures with a more coordinated approach that aligns incentives and focuses on measurable execution.
“I watched too many talented founders fail not because of the wrong idea or bad technology, but because they couldn’t access the right expertise when it mattered most. An enormous waste of founder talent, investor capital, and potential impact,” said Nicklas Fursund, founder and CEO of OPERATORS.
“I founded OPERATORS to bring the right competence and capital to the founders, with a structure that actually works. Co-investing time, aligned incentives, real execution.”
Operating models will include board-building services, dedicated operator boards, capital support and structured advisory frameworks. The organisation’s operator network includes figures with backgrounds in maritime logistics, offshore industries and industrial technology, to provide domain-specific support for startup teams.
