Reederei F. Laeisz reports that it has rolled out Sealenic’s operational intelligence platform across its fleet and shore-based teams, following a development partnership that began in 2024.
The platform is now in use on 23 vessels, including gas carriers, container ships and car carriers, as well as within fleet operations, HSE and technical teams ashore.
Reederei F. Laeisz says the system will be used to provide vessel-specific, real-time information to support daily operations, inspections and decision-making, ensuring that ship and shore teams work from the same, current operational context.
Sealenic combines company procedures, live vessel data and external regulatory requirements into a single operational view. Guidance can be adapted to each vessel’s voyage and operating conditions, reducing the need to cross-check multiple systems, circulars and external sources.
“AI is on everyone’s lips. With Sealenic, we have an AI tool that allows fast, targeted and therefore efficient access to all parts of our safety management system, especially on board ships but also on land,” said Harald Schlotfeldt, Managing Technical Director of Reederei F. Laeisz.

Reederei F. Laeisz acted as a development partner during Sealenic’s early stages, testing initial versions of the platform and providing feedback to support further development. The company says this helped in ensuring a rapid transition from pilot use to full fleet deployment.
