Thenamaris completes 93-vessel software implementation

Thenamaris has fully implemented the Nautical Systems (NS) package of software applications from ABS Wavesight across its fleet of 93 vessels.

NS is a marine Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that uses interoperable modules to manage fleet and crew data.

The Greek ship management company transitioned from multiple legacy systems to a single integrated platform to manage maintenance, procurement, drydock management, and Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE).

The move is intended to provide greater visibility, standardised processes, and improved efficiency between shore-based offices and vessel crews.

Thenamaris manages a diverse range of modern vessels. Its tanker fleet includes Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC), Suezmax, Aframax, and MR2 tankers. The company also operates a ConBulk fleet, established in 2020, alongside two 5,000 Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) containerships.

Additionally, Thenamaris LNG manages Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) carriers.
