Virgin Voyages has begun deployment of a new document management module within the Elomatic Aura Asset Performance Management (APM) platform, designed to provide a single authoritative source for technical documentation and facilitate the tracking of project deliverables during operations.
Supported by Elomatic subsidiary Ablemans LCS, the roll-out has commenced at Virgin Voyages’ headquarters and aboard the vessel Valiant Lady, with completion across the full fleet expected by the end of 2026.
The system organises technical documentation by vessel, system, and asset hierarchy. It includes features for version control, integrated approval flows, and an auditable document log with role-based permissions. For vessels operating in limited-connectivity scenarios at sea, the platform offers an on-premise option to allow teams to maintain access to necessary data.

The document management module is part of a broader dry dock package currently in final development. This package integrates document, project, and permit management to assist shipowners in maintaining control over the dry dock process from the planning phase through to project closure.
