MariApps completes acquisition of EffiaSoft

MariApps Marine Solutions, a member of the Schulte Group, has acquired 100 per cent ownership of Hyderabad-based software company EffiaSoft Private Limited, the companies report.

MariApps will integrate the EffiaSoft portfolio with its own range of applications with the aim of improving its range of maritime tools and incporporating supply chain functionalities into its smartPAL platform.

“The acquisition of EffiaSoft is a testament to our vision of building a comprehensive digital maritime ecosystem,” said Sankar Ragavan, CEO of MariApps Marine Solutions.

“Their expertise in creating high-performance software aligns perfectly with our goal of driving operational efficiency for our clients worldwide.”

The two companies had previously collaborated on the development of cruisePAL and other travel tools for the maritime sector.

MariApps will absorb engineering and operations staff in Hyderabad. The company currently employs more than 1,450 people in regions including Singapore, Germany, India, Cyprus, the USA, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, France, and Saudi Arabia.
