Reach Subsea vessel completes first unmanned UK port call

Reach Subsea’s unmanned surface vessel, Reach Remote 1, has completed its first port call in the United Kingdom after arriving at the Port of Aberdeen.

The call marks the first time a Norwegian-flagged unmanned surface vessel, remotely operated from Norway, has sailed into a UK port.

The vessel is part of a new generation of unmanned craft designed to enable safer, more efficient, and more sustainable offshore and subsea operations.

Reach Remote 1 has been operating in the North Sea since summer 2025, supporting several energy companies.
