Shuwaikh Port to deploy new terminal operating system

Shuwaikh Port in Kuwait is to deploy CyberLogitec’s cloud-based OPUS Terminal M terminal operating system (TOS) as part of a wider port digitalisation project led by infrastructure company Alghanim Specialities.

The system will support vessel operations, planning, yard and equipment management, gate operations, operational monitoring and data management through a single platform.

Located near Kuwait City, Shuwaikh Port handles container, general cargo and Ro-Ro traffic and serves as a key gateway for Kuwait’s international trade.

The deployment is intended to provide real-time visibility of terminal operations and integrate operational workflows across the facility.

The agreement follows CyberLogitec’s recent contract with TTI Algeciras in Spain to provide OPUS Terminal and Digital Twin systems for the terminal’s B1 Expansion Project.
