STAR Information Systems adds NOZZLE software to portfolio

STAR Information Systems has added NOZZLE’s cloud-based ship management software to its portfolio, bringing together the two companies’ maritime asset and ship management platforms.

NOZZLE provides modules covering maintenance, HSEQ, crewing and financial management, while STAR Information Systems’ STAR EAM platform is used to manage complex maritime assets.

The companies said the combination will allow them to broaden their software offering and develop cloud-based applications for different maritime segments.

Bernt A. Lilliestråle, CEO at STAR Information Systems, said the companies would combine their maritime software and data management capabilities to support customers across different types of maritime operations.

Enes Demirci, CEO at NOZZLE, added that the partnership would bring together the companies’ respective capabilities to support crews, shipowners and ship managers with their digital transformation.
