Metis and Nereus Digital Bunkers in fuel management partnership

Fleet performance software company Metis has entered into a strategic cooperation with Nereus Digital Bunkers, a specialist in marine fuel management applications, with the aim of improving bunkering operations.

The partnership will leverage cloud-to-cloud integration for data exchange to support the optimal management and execution of bunkering processes using both systems.

The Metis platform will provide bunkering information by port, including indicative pricing, pricing trends, fuel quality reports, bunker delivery delays and vendor performance ratings, with customer demand-driven inquiries then fed into the Nereus platform during the voyage planning stage.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering holistic solutions that integrate diverse data sources for smarter decision-making,” said Panos Theodossopoulos, Chief Executive Officer, Metis.

“It also underscores the vision we share with Nereus to empower the maritime sector with innovative tools that foster sustainability, efficiency, and transparency by providing actionable insights to optimise operations.”
