OceanScore partners with Coneksion on sea freight CO₂ reporting

OceanScore has partnered with Coneksion to offer CargoFP, a new API-enabled emissions reporting service designed for shippers and freight forwarders, providing voyage-specific CO₂ data.

CargoFP integrates OceanScore’s emissions modelling technology with Coneksion’s connectivity platform to deliver voyage data directly into carbon accounting or logistics systems.

Unlike average-based emission calculations, the system calculates Scope 3 emissions using digital twins of individual vessels, incorporating data on engine performance, fuel type, speed, route, draft, and port calls to generate shipment-level insights.

The integration is available via Coneksion’s RAPIDS interface and also includes support for metrics such as NOx, SOx, PM, NMHC, and full Well-to-Wake (WtW) lifecycle emissions, including Well-to-Tank (WtT) and Tank-to-Wake (TtW).

The software is designed to support pre-voyage decision-making by helping users assess the emissions impact of different vessel options ahead of booking.
