Opening Keynote
OPENING KEYNOTE: THE NEW MARITIME RISK LANDSCAPE – WHAT’S REALLY CHANGED?
Shipping has always operated in cycles, with risk shaped by trade flows, fleet dynamics and global economics. But the past few years have introduced a different layer of complexity, from geopolitical disruption and shifting trade patterns to regulatory pressure and greater operational scrutiny.

This opening keynote takes a step back to look at how these forces are combining to reshape where risk actually sits across the industry today, and whether what we are seeing is simply another turn of the cycle or something more structural.

It will also explore how decision-making is evolving in this environment, particularly at a time when the industry has more data and visibility than ever, but not necessarily clearer answers.
09:40 to 10:25
An Onstage Collaboration
FIRESIDE - OPERATORS, CLASS & INSURERS: COLLABORATION WHERE RISK CONVERGES
A concise, high-impact discussion with a ship operator, a class representative and an insurer to highlight the areas where collaboration is currently breaking down and where it matters most.

• Charterparty structures and how risk is really allocated in practice
