MagicPort secures $3m in funding round

Maritime technology firm MagicPort has raised US$3 million in a pre-seed investment round to expand its intelligence and automation systems for shipping.

The funding round included participation from INMerge Ventures, Sturgeon Capital, Hustle Fund, Everywhere Ventures, Transport Capital, Caucasus Ventures, and Scorpa Pranedya.

The company’s platform is designed to streamline port calls to facilitate cargo operations through automation of workflows and the delivery of real-time visibility over tasks, activities and invoices.

The software integrates shared inbox tools to connect email communications directly to applications and services, alongside artificial intelligence (AI) agents to automatically handle documents, invoices, and shipments.

The platform also provides intelligence on vessels, ports, and shipping companies, supported by automated reporting, business analytics, and smart alerts for risk mitigation.

MagicPort says that more than 300 companies across more than 80 countries are currently utilising its applications.
