Incheon fully automated terminal to deploy CyberLogitec software

Incheon Global Container Terminal (IGCT) is to deploy CyberLogitec’s OPUS Terminal operating system at the Phase 1-2 project at Incheon New Port.

The terminal is scheduled to open in 2028 and will be Incheon Port’s first fully automated container terminal.

The hybrid-layout terminal will use Double-Trolley Quayside Container Cranes (DTQC), Automated Rail-Mounted Gantry Cranes (ARMGC) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) across berth, yard and gate operations.

CyberLogitec will implement a TOS covering berth, vessel, yard and gate operations on a single platform.

The system will interface with automated equipment control systems to support operational planning and field execution using real-time operational data.

IGCT is a joint venture between Hanjin Logistics, Sun Kwang, E1, KMTC and HMM, with the Incheon Port Authority also holding an equity stake.

CyberLogitec has previously supplied OPUS Terminal to the TTI Algeciras semi-automated terminal expansion project in Spain and Shuwaikh Port in Kuwait.
