Norwegian maritime HR software developer Adonis AS has agreed a deal with Mystic Cruises to implement the Adonis Maritime Suite across Mystic’s new fleet of Expedition Cruise vessels, to manage recruitment, crewing, payroll and crew services.
The first of these ships, the MS World Explorer, will be launched later this year, with another two new vessels, the World Voyager and World Navigator, currently under construction.
“Mystic Cruises is focused on creating memorable experiences for our guests aboard our cruises, be they in the Antarctica or the Norwegian Fjords,” said Mario Ferreira, CEO of Mystic Cruises.
“For that we need a highly skilled and motivated crew, which is only possible if they’re properly managed, and if they’re provided with the conditions and opportunities that make them want to develop a career in the cruise industry with our company. We evaluated different software packages and quickly realised that Adonis was the right partner for our organisation and mission.”
The new package of applications will be used to streamline work processes between vessels and offices, manage compliance with maritime rules around the world, control crew payroll and handle crew turnarounds and time cards.
“We are honoured to partner with Mystic Cruises and look forward to providing their organisation with comprehensive HR support, allowing them to focus on making their tours of Antarctica such memorable experiences, “ said Sigrid Kviteberg, Director of Customer Services for Adonis.
“Our partnership with Mystic is the most recent in a series of new contracts with expedition cruise lines, further underscoring the value of our maritime HR suite and confirming our leadership within this segment of the maritime industry.”
