FUELNET updates voyage planning capabilities

Nautical Control Solutions has added a range of new features to its FUELNET software product, part of its FUELTRAX family of applications, to improve users’ voyage planning capabilities.

The new FUELNET Trip Planner now includes a trip building feature that allows for the planning of multi-stop trips and updated estimated times of arrival (ETA) through monitoring of real-time speed changes.

Current and custom vessel speeds can be comparted side-by-side to see the impact on ETA, and new ETA lines can be added to a plan by clicking on the map or selecting a previously saved location.

Real-time data from the independent FUELTRAX tracking signal can be used to update the system on a continuous basis, without the user having to rely on AIS or other tracking signals.
