CargoX, a blockchain logistics document transaction platform built on a public blockchain, has been integrated into RoadLaunch, a private blockchain-based digital freight management platform, to provide a single-window platform capable of storing data on multiple blockchains simultaneously.
The RoadLaunch system, built on Hyperledger blockchain technology, is used to optimise freight quoting, dispatch, capacity management, load matching, asset tracking and instant settlement of freight payments. CargoX provides a platform for secure digital transfer of ownership for global trade documents, running on the Ethereum public blockchain.
Users will be able to access both services within one single-window application following the integration, the companies said, without needing any knowledge of the underlying blockchain technologies to operate the applications.
“The partnership with CargoX is a big step forward in the supply chain industry and further sets the stage for next-generation logistics,” said Cory Skinner, founder and CEO of RoadLaunch.
“Global organisations will be able to see an enhanced, trusted and simple interface for their shipment tracking and document transactions using multiple blockchain technologies.”
