Maersk Supply Service implements new crewing software

Maersk Supply Service reports that it has implemented the Cloud Fleet Manager ship management application from German software provider Hanseaticsoft, with the aim of using its Cloud Crewing module to manage all crew-related tasks.

The system provides a variety of application programming interfaces (APIs) that can be used to import and export data, and to share information with external providers for functions such as payroll management, Hanseaticsoft notes.

The new software will replace parts of four different systems that were previously used to handle crew-related tasks, allowing Maersk Supply Service to centralise its crewing processes.

“We selected Cloud Fleet Manager from Hanseaticsoft as our new crew management system. It combines a standard platform with comprehensive functionality with a high degree of usability, enabling us to deploy new features at a faster pace,” said Kevin Bro Beier, Head of Crewing, Maersk Supply Service.

“Working closely with Hanseaticsoft’s dedicated team of professionals has contributed to a fast and straightforward implementation, and we have gained an increase in user satisfaction and efficiency.”
