Data sharing platform introduced at Chilean terminal by ONE

Ocean Network Express (ONE) and TPS Valparaiso have successfully implemented the XVELA Cloud-based collaboration platform at the Chilean terminal to help improve efficient data exchange between stakeholders.

Using the new system ONE and TPS Valparaiso will be able to streamline communication between ONE’s planners and terminal operators and collaborate in real-time, the companies said, with the data sharing platform providing improved visibility on the arrival and stability of ships coming into the terminal to help maximise the efficiency of vessel calls.

“Our focus is to offer a superior service to our customers, and XVELA provides us with functions that allow better integration between the shipping company and the terminal, which means better planning of our ships,” said Paulo Biazotti, Vice President LAWC, ONE.

“We chose TPS for this project because of its proactivity offering innovation in a market as traditional as shipping, and because we share a similar approach to customer solutions.”
