Norwegian company DESS Aquaculture Shipping has signed a contract with Logimatic to implement the SERTICA Fleet Management software system across its fleet.
The software will be used to optimise data management between the main office and vessels, and improve internal processes in relation to maintenance, procurement, HSQE and performance. SERTICA is expected to be fully implemented and live on all ships by the end of March 2020.
“We are excited about the Master Data Management module in SERTICA as it will give us easy maintenance of shared master data, full overview of fleet assets and maximised economic value of each vessel,” said Tommy Karlsen, Supply Chain Manager at DESS Aquaculture Shipping.
DESS Aquaculture Shipping operates a fleet of 12 vessels, and is involved in a newbuilding programme with the aim of expanding to operation of more than 30 ships.
“With all the new vessels coming up, SERTICA Master Data Management can help keep track of the data of the same type of equipment on different vessels,” said Hans Christian Jensen, Head of Sales at Logimatic.
