Maritime software company Oceanly has joined forces with digital engineering firm Nagarro to launch a maritime intelligence platform designed to automate vessel data analysis and improve operational decision-making.
The platform will use Munich-headquartered Nagarro’s Ginger AI to process real-time data from performance, fuel, and emissions sensors.
The system focuses on a number of specific operational areas, including voyage planning, maintenance, procurement, and flow-meter diagnostics. It also includes automated monitoring tools to assist with regulatory compliance, specifically targeting International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements and the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS).
“Maritime teams generate huge volumes of operational data every day, but much of it is difficult to use in real operational context,” said Frederik Lerche-Tornoe, CEO, Oceanly.
“Since partnering with Nagarro, our focus has been on turning this readily available data into intelligence that crews and operators can rely on. This new platform brings together maritime domain expertise and AI to deliver better performance, lower fuel costs, and more sustainable operations.”
The launch follows a strategic partnership formed between the two companies in September 2025.
