Marlink buys ITC Global

Marlink Group, backed by its venture capital owners Apax Partners (France), reports that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of satcom service provider ITC Global from Panasonic.

Upon completion of the acquisition, ITC Global will become part of the Marlink Group and expand the Group’s activities in the energy and enterprise markets.

Combining operations will allow Marlink to strengthen its commercial operations in the US, UK and Australia, the company notes, and provides a basis for synergistic improvement of its platforms and services for clients.

The closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021.
