One Net launches e-learning division OneLearn Global

Cyprus-based satcom provider One Net has launched a new e-learning division called OneLearn Global, which aims to deliver training courses using a digital learning management system for maritime and other industrial sectors.

The Learning Management System (LMS) will allow training course to be accessed on various devices, whether on shore or on board, awarding certification and badges for successful completion of assigned tasks.

The administrator-controlled application includes recommended training directly on the home page, informing users of learning programmes that match their qualifications as well as the company’s specific training requirements.

APIs are also available to allow the LMS to be integrated into user companies’ own platforms, with a range of digital statistics and training reports available for review and to support audit processes.

Nigel Cleave, previously CEO of maritime training company Videotel from 2011 to 2016, will act as a Senior Advisor for the new business unit.

“Our award-winning audit compliance LMS delivers modern future-ready learning experiences, enterprise-wide training capabilities and dashboards with all the information our customers require, which, together with a world class learner experience, will empower their organisations to stay ahead,” said Mr Cleave.

“Our courses have been specifically designed to be highly effective, thus ensuring high absorption rates resulting from authentic interactivity and smart content.”

“We offer a totally transparent, no nonsense pricing structure based on an annual subscription fee, with no hidden surprises. What is unique about the system is that each user will have content access to the OneLearn Global LMS, with absolutely no limitations as to the frequency of titles accessed throughout the subscription period.”
