Wärtsilä has integrated with maritime e-trading platform MESPAS Connect to offer a new option for managing procurement within Wärtsilä applications.
The web-based trading platform MESPAS Connect is an online marketplace. Following the integration with Wärtsilä, fully automated data flows between the two software systems will be enabled.
Ship managers using MESPAS Connect can request offers, place orders, receive invoices and approve payments, receiving immediate electronic offers from Wärtsilä with price indications when searching for products.
The MESPAS cloud master database also already contains technical details for millions of parts and machinery required on a ship, removing the need for typing of information, to avoid errors and reduce workload.
