Milano Teleport expands maritime VSAT capabilities with SatADSL tie-up

Belgian satellite service provider SatADSL has agreed a new partnership with satcom provider Milano Teleport (MT), which will allow MT to leverage SatADSL’s neXat platform to provide maritime VSAT services to a wider market.

neXat is a cloud-based capacity aggregation platform, which can be used as a virtual OSS (Operations Support System) or BSS (Business Support System) and operates as a connectivity broker to connect teleports with regional service providers.

MT will have access to neXat’s global teleport coverage through the platform’s eMarketplace in regions it does not already have a presence, coverage, or distribution. The eMarketplace offers a choice of capacity options for teleport operators, ISPs and end-users to purchase specific capacity and associated services depending on their individual needs.

“We’ll benefit greatly from the visibility of global coverage, connectivity services associated with each footprint, and the various technologies that are all available through neXat’s eMarketplace,” said Umberto Gallo, CEO at MT.

“This is incredibly useful for us as it will allow us to expand our service offering and access new markets.”
