Windward risk data integrated into Sea/ platform

Maritime risk intelligence firm Windward has partnered with Sea/, the digital shipping platform launched by Clarksons’ Maritech subsidiary, to improve efficiency in pre-fixture negotiations within the Sea/ application by streamlining compliance and due diligence processes.

The partnership will allow Sea/ customers to view a vessel’s risk score directly within the software and choose vessels that meet their specific sanctions requirements.

Windward’s risk scores are categorised based on deceptive shipping practises like dark activity, identity tampering, loitering, and port calls, and will be delivered into the Sea/trade system using  Windward’s integrated API.

“The integration of Windward’s AI platform within Sea/trade will empower our clients with further data and insight to assist them in their chartering decisions,” said Alex Gray, Head of Commercial Partnerships at Sea/.

“Collaborating with Windward is a really exciting step for Sea/ and we look forward to the efficiencies it will bring.”
