ABS Consulting to work with Itus Digital on asset performance management platform

Risk management company ABS Consulting, a wholly-owned subsidiary of class society ABS, has agreed a deal to work with software developer Itus Digital on an end-to-end asset management system, combining ABS Consulting’s asset reliability services with Itus’ Asset Performance Management (APM) applications.

The combined system would assist users in operationalising their asset strategy using existing data, providing a path to optimisation of assets to maximise performance and minimise maintenance costs.

Itus Digital’s software actively manages failure risks to maintain and mitigate emerging threats. The platform is supported by an asset library that contains more than 200 asset twin models covering common industrial equipment classes, including base failure rates.

“The Itus platform enables our clients to effectively prioritise and manage their maintenance strategies based on asset criticality,” said Joe Woods, ABS Consulting Vice President of Risk and Reliability.

“The combination of our deep domain experience and reliability expertise, alongside the Itus platform, sets our clients up for long term success.”
