VTTI expands use of optimisation platform to fourth terminal

VTTI is to roll out UAB-Online’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform at ATB in Malaysia, the fourth VTTI terminal to use the application to manage operations in liquid bulk shipping.

The software is designed to optimise the process of a vessel’s pre-arrival administration and handling of inland and sea-going vessels, to support efficient and safe operations and to maximise berth utilisation.

VTTI previously started working with UAB-Online’s system in 2020 at its Rotterdam (ETT) and Amsterdam (ETA) terminals, before introducing the application at its ATPC terminal in Antwerp.

“This expansion of our collaboration emphasises the solid and excellent relationship between VTTI and UAB-Online,” said Hans Bobeldijk, UAB-Online’s Chief Executive Officer.

“We are proud to take on this international journey with VTTI. We will co-develop an integrated solution that will improve the entire supply chain and benefit all stakeholders in liquid bulk shipping. Let’s show the rest of the world how optimal liquid bulk operations can be done.”
