National Navigation Company of Egypt signs up with Veson

Egyptian dry cargo shipping firm National Navigation Company (NNC) has agreed a new deal to implement Veson Nautical’s IMOS Platform (VIP) as its maritime freight management system.

NNC’s key objectives in pursuing this project were to ensure the effective management of resources and a continuous flow of data and information across the organisation, while also enhancing interconnectivity between various departments and business functions, the company said.

VIP will support the commercial management of NNC’s freight contracts and commitments, integrating with other critical systems selected by the company, such as technical fleet management and corporate accounting applications.

“Our mission is to deliver integrated, highly efficient shipping services to meet the requirements of our customers and partners as well as safety and the environment,” said Mohamed Soliman, Executive General Manager at NNC.

“We expect that Veson will play in instrumental role in supporting us as we live out this mission, securing the transfer of strategic goods so important to the Egyptian economy and expanding the capacity of the organisation in a more efficient, informed, and streamlined way than previously possible.”
