Wilson EuroCarriers to implement Seaber tech for fleet scheduling

Norway-based short sea shipping company Wilson EuroCarriers has partnered with Finnish maritime technology firm Seaber.io to assist in the digitalisation of Wilson’s fleet scheduling, to improve efficiency and reduce costs and emissions.

Seaber’s system supports multi-parcel and multi-port voyages, and can integrate with existing third-party software packages such as ERPs and voyage management applications.

The web-based tool is designed for use by both shipowners and cargo owners, allowing them to coordinate in schedule planning and communication in real time, with each maintaining control of the information being shared.

“Our aim is to move cargo safely, on time, and maximise efficiency and sustainability of European sea transport,” said Jostein Bjørgo, Commercial Director at Wilson.

“We were looking for software solutions that could support our mission and believe that Seaber is the best tool to help us further digitalise our operations. It is important for us to improve collaboration and the service we provide to our customers.” “This is a pioneer project, and we expect to set a new standard for how the entire industry manages scheduling in the future.”
