ShipTracks launches analysis tool for harbour docking industry

AIS services and maritime analytics provider ShipTracks has launched a new intelligence tool for the harbour docking industry, providing performance metrics for waterborne activities.

The Job Insights software delivers port activity and performance metrics in an exportable searchable list form as well as in a dashboard, to be used for optimisation of mobilisation and demobilisation times, improving speed efficiency, and gaining insight into customer and competitor activities.

The application is updated in near real-time and can be run in any date range, allowing multiple jobs to be selected and compared side by side for any port. If a ship owner raises a query on some aspect of performance, video playback of the job can also be made available to be exported for viewing.

“I’ve always seen AIS as a conduit to partnering with other companies, creating new products, and fuelling analytics to solve real problems for our customers,” said Charles Riley, President and Founder of ShipTracks.

“We track and analyse every aspect of every job, so you don’t have to.”
