Reederei F. Laeisz to roll out Maindeck across entire fleet

Reederei F. Laeisz, a German operator of car carriers, gas carriers and container vessels, has agreed a new deal to implement software systems from Norway-based Maindeck to manage all technical projects across its entire fleet.

The two companies first began working together in 2020 under a pilot project, before Maindeck’s software was rolled out to a section of the fleet in 2021 while Reederei F. Laeisz continued testing other applications.

Having completed a full evaluation of a range of different options, the shipping company has decided to implement Maindeck’s software across its entire fleet as its common platform.

“Maindeck offers a very reliable tool. The whole team of experienced professionals exceed expectations, offering great solutions and exceptional customer service,” said Björn Hoppe, Technical Superintendent at Reederei F. Laeisz.

“They took the time to understand our specific needs and provided a tailor-made product that greatly improves our operations.”
