Dualog has added a new update to its Dualog Drive data transfer service to provide a simplified overview of transfers between ship and shore to relevant stakeholders like HR, purchasing departments or fleet Captains.
The ShareView service offers a dedicated link that can be shared with chosen parties and delivers a display of how specific tasks are progressing in real-time, to facilitate teamwork between ship and office teams and support improved decision making.
“With ShareView customers monitor their data just like a parcel tracking function,” explains Kristian Olsen, Product Manager at Dualog.
“Our goal has always been to simplify ship-shore data transfers. ShareView is a big step in that direction. It offers both onboard and onshore users better control of their tasks and reduces the pressure on IT staff.”
