Telenor Maritime has agreed a strategic partner agreement with Veracity by DNV, which will see automated integration pathways created between Telenor Maritime’s applications and the Veracity ecosystem.
The move will provide Telenor Maritime customers with improved access to reporting services on MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) and EU ETS (climate gas emissions), through its software services offered in cooperation with Maranics.
“Partnering with Telenor Maritime is a step in our ambition to make it easier for the shipping industry to obtain trusted data that can be used with confidence automating business processes,” said Mikkel Skou, Director of Veracity by DNV.

Today, the industry faces challenges with poor quality in noon reports. The efforts by Telenor Maritime and Maranics to enhance data quality at the source are crucial.”
DNV’s Emissions Connect service for emissions reporting verification is already accessible via the Veracity cloud, with the new partnership allowing common customers of Telenor Maritime and DNV to utilise a single integrated process from noon report creation through to receipt of a verification voyage statement.
Maranics and Telenor Maritime are already delivering automation in inputs to the noon report to customers, pre-populating reports with sensor/flowmeter data.
