Smart Ship Hub to integrate with Kongsberg Digital vessel data platform

Kongsberg Digital has announced plans to integrate its Vessel Insight service with the Smart Ship Hub maritime software platform, to improve data collection and exchange for analysis of vessel and voyage performance, machinery condition monitoring, predictive diagnostics and overall health management.

Singapore-based Smart Ship Hub, founded in 2021, offers applications utilising high-frequency vessel sensor data to deliver machine learning-based services to improve operational efficiency.

The collaboration with Kongsberg Digital will focus on integrating data from connected sources collected by Vessel Insight with in-the-cloud and on-edge intelligence offered by Smart Ship Hub’s software.

“This collaboration is an important advancement in our efforts to drive enhanced efficiency, sustainability, and innovation through the digitalisation of the maritime industry,” said Kim Evanger, Director Ecosystem P&A at Kongsberg Digital.

“Smart Ship Hub represents a fantastic hub of expertise and technological innovation, perfectly aligned with the capabilities of Vessel Insight. Together, we are perfectly positioned to deliver great value to our customers by transforming data into actionable insights for the crew and operators.”
