Ahti gets Finnish government backing

Emissions management firm Ahti reports that it has secured new funding from Business Finland, a Finnish government organisation.

Ahti was founded in 2022, utilising digital tools and data science to assist shipping companies in managing emissions compliance.

The funding will enable the company to accelerate the development of Ahti Pool, its FuelEU Maritime compliance pool, as well as support further international expansion.

“We are very pleased to receive this funding from Business Finland, which is evidence of the impact – and major potential – of our concept to advance and streamline emissions compliance within the maritime industry,” said Risto-Juhani Kariranta, CEO of Ahti.

“With this support, we can deliver a further enhanced solution that’s cost-efficient and unbiased to any compliance method.”
