Energy Solutions UK Ltd, a supplier of marine electrical systems, has announced the acquisition of marine monitoring and control systems manufacturer, Oceanic Systems (UK) Ltd.
Founded in 2003, Oceanic Systems is a designer and manufacturer of NMEA2000-based integrated Alarm, Display, and Control Systems for various vessel types, including leisure, commercial, and military.
The acquisition is designed to expand Energy Solutions’ marine technology offerings, with Oceanic Systems and its 15 employees to continue to operate as a stand-alone business integrated into Energy Solutions’ operations.
“By acquiring Oceanic, Energy Solutions strengthens its portfolio of monitoring solutions, particularly as our involvement in marine hybrid propulsion systems grows,” said Paul Holland, Managing Director and founder of Energy Solutions.
