Danelec and NAVTOR have expanded their partnership to integrate the Danelec Collect data collection infrastructure with NAVTOR’s Digital Logbook system, to support automated digital record-keeping.
The integration allows NAVTOR’s Digital Logbooks to automatically populate logbook entries with data collected by Danelec’s onboard system, powered by its Vessel Remote Server (VRS), to deliver class-approved, secure digital records that are accessible onboard and ashore.
The latest version 2.4 of NAVTOR’s Digital Logbooks includes an upgraded Navbox API that enables automatic data transfer and alerts, new homepages for quick event entries, and improved validation and alert features to streamline compliance and reduce error risks. The system covers digital documentation across mandatory records such as the Oil Record Book, Garbage Record Book, and Ballast Water Log.
