Ship manager OSM Thome has signed an agreement with Kaiko Systems, a provider of mobile digital ship inspection systems, to deploy its software across the entire OSM Thome fleet.
Kaiko Systems’ platform provides real-time guidance, automated reporting, and documentation to support crew members in conducting ship inspections using mobile devices. Technical management teams ashore will also automatically gain access to an overview of vessel health across the whole fleet based on verified crew inspections and objective AI assessments.
The system includes tools for SIRE 2.0, Pre-PSC Self-Assessment, Ballast Water Tank Inspections, Deck Maintenance and Monitoring, Safety Inspections, and Corrosion Analysis using KAI, Kaiko Systems’ maritime AI assistant.
