Spinergie links data platform to DNV Veracity cloud

Maritime technology company Spinergie is to partner with DNV’s Veracity cloud data platform to deliver an automated system for collecting, processing, and verifying emissions data.

The deal will see Spinergie’s Smart Fleet Management software integrated with Veracity, connecting Spinergie’s Smart Reporting module with DNV’s Emissions Connect application.

Smart Reporting collects data via multiple sources, including sensors, GPS/AIS, and manual entry. Veracity will provide direct verification of the data, to manage compliance with the IMO DCS, EU MRV, and FuelEU Maritime regulations.

Spinergie bulk cargo client SMT Shipping will be among the early users of the integrated set-up to improve its data management processes, including guided manual data entry, reinforced with automatic population and quality checks.

Further time savings are expected through the use of single-entry data processes, with multiple reports generated from a centralised dataset and automatically exported to relevant internal and external stakeholders as required.
