Neele-Vat Ocean deploys Coneksion to improve ocean carrier data integration

Logistics provider Neele-Vat Ocean has partnered with Coneksion (formerly Youredi) to deploy the RAPIDS Ocean Freight Connectivity system, aiming to streamline its data integration with ocean carriers to improve operational efficiency and supply chain visibility.

Coneksion’s Common Carrier Layer (CCL) technology will be used to integrate Neele-Vat’s Fiton TMS with major carriers. The RAPIDS system supports a range of maritime communication protocols, including booking requests, shipping instructions, verified gross mass (VGM), Bills of Lading (BoL), and real-time track and trace capabilities.

Additional functionalities such as vessel schedules and freight invoice integration can also be incorporated in the future as Neele-Vat’s requirements evolve.

“We chose Coneksion because it integrates seamlessly with our TMS and enhances data connectivity with our top ocean carriers,” said Andy Giesselbach, Director Ocean Netherlands at Neele-Vat.

“This partnership allows us to exchange data efficiently and scale as needed. It’s all about improving our booking process and enhancing the customer experience.”
