Furuno launches latest touchscreen chart planning table

Furuno has added a new touchscreen system for route and navigation planning, with the launch of its PS100 Planning Station.

The PS100 marine chart planning table offers a range of navigation functions on touchscreen displays of various sizes, with a combined hardware and software offering including a purpose-built compact PC with the route-planning program pre-installed.

The voyage planning system includes tools for route planning, monitoring, and ENC management, allowing navigators to create, manage, and optimise routes, plot courses, manage waypoints, and make real-time adjustments based on live data.

The PS100 supports data transfer with Furuno ECDIS and Radars, with the capability for up to 300 routes and 200 user charts to be transferred and stored in memory. It can also synchronise ENCs with ECDIS FMD-3xxx models.
