TCEEGE Container Terminal Operator implements Portchain

TCEEGE Container Terminal Operator has joined the Portchain Connect network, implementing the system to increase the speed of berth alignment with customers.

The Turkish terminal will use the platform to improve communication with vessels visiting the facility, through digital handshakes and secure data sharing.

Portchain allows connected users to receive real-time schedule and move count updates directly from carrier systems, allowing them to respond and counter-propose more quickly and align vessel schedules with the terminal berth plan.

“Our collaboration with Portchain is underpinned by a shared commitment to excellence, as we work together to harness the power of data and collaboration to optimise our entire logistics process,” said Mutlu Aygun, Vessel Operations Manager, TCEEGE Container Terminal Operator.
