Marcura expands AI integration across maritime portfolio

Marcura has introduced new AI capabilities as part of a broader effort to integrate its portfolio of maritime businesses, aiming to connect datasets across its ecosystem of applications to improve automation and intelligence.

The company’s platforms, including DA-Desk, ShipServ, MarTrust, ClaimsHub, and PortLog, collectively handle 200,000 port calls annually and facilitate $21.6 billion in payments.

Marcura has launched a new generation of DA-Desk AI Agents, which will automate DA estimates, resolve issues, and manage recurring customer interactions. These new capabilities will be added to the AI technologies already in use across applications for automated Charter Party interpretation, predictive insights for pre-fixture decisions, and AI-driven document comparison for identifying contractual risks.

New predictive analytics tools are also planned in the coming months to support cost forecasting and operational planning, as well as improved procurement and payment processes. Compliance tools will additionally be introduced to integrate sanction screening, counterparty onboarding, and cargo control verification to streamline risk management.

“The maritime industry is full of point solutions that solve individual challenges, but don’t work together. We want to help customers get the full job done, on their terms,” said Henrik Hyldahn, Group CEO, Marcura.

“The depth and quality of our data makes our AI more effective. Our customers get maritime-specific AI tools they can trust, delivering unmatched productivity gains and decision-making support beyond even the best analysts.”

“Our customers can keep the tools they trust and add the solutions they need. We’re not replacing what works, we’re expanding what’s possible and giving them the freedom to choose what’s right for them.”
